Definite explosion of colours going through my mind as I get ready for the weekend!

Picked up the brush again

Felt inspired to paint this weekend, must be the Countdown to Christmas event at Southsea Library Gallery next weekend that's inspired me.

I started several pictures about 3 years ago and never finished any of them, funny that back then I didn't have a clue what to do next, or how to finish them off, it's almost like they had to wait for this moment in time. It feels like a finishing time in my life - a clearing out of the old in preparation for the new beginnings.

Next exhibition 1st & 2nd December

A space came up, a training day got cancelled so I went for it and will be exhibiting at Southsea Library Gallery on the 1st and 2nd December with Art In The Library - Countdown to Christmas.

There will be 19 other artists work on display and for sale.
